Wartime victims and families of soldiers brave aftermath of war

Any type of loss, be it life or wealth, is very difficult to cope up with. It takes lot of time and courage to brave such situation. Natural calamities always come unannounced. One is expected to face it with full courage and guts, as these situations may not be foreseen and people are helpless. One has to bow down before the whim of nature. These catastrophes lead to huge losses in the form of life, money and property. This requires lot of re-structuring of society and for this reason needs lot of monetary support. Other form of catastrophe is the war. This is another destructing side of human beings which adversely affects the other individuals. Many civilizations are emerged or wiped out due to invading strategies for expansion of kingdoms. Right from ancient times, defending or attacking, the animalistic instincts of humans for taking over other’s rightful property has taken a form of war. Earlier this form was used mainly for protecting oneself from the wild animals. But later on it was also used for other purposes. Many tribes, cultures were wiped out due to this trait. It is still very much persistent, many countries break war on each other for their specific purposes.

Any war has huge loss of innocent lives. There could be soldiers, countrymen (who unwillingly get involved into war), properties and the list is huge. Once the war gets over, war compensation ( in german Abfindung ) is offered to all the soldiers. Many soldiers get handicapped, many die or many become dependent on others for their bread. These soldiers fight or brave their life for their country; thus it becomes the responsibility of the government to take care of their families and them.Transitional aid ( in german Übergangsbeihilfe ) in the form of money, concessions at various places, shelter provision and many more is offered. Apart from this many policies for well being of their families in case of their demise are also offered by government. Many countries have their own sets of rules for such helps for its citizens. A transitional period is very crucial for citizens of any country which faces emergency. Sometimes concerned government puts in efforts to provide permanent shelters for the affected people. But during recent years, a trend has been observed that the government provides such shelters only in the case of huge natural devastations. Wartime permanent shelter provision has been eliminated.
