War Compensation for the affected Soldiers

For any country, the defense force or the soldiers form an important part. Since times unknown, human has been involved in warfare with a desire to take a control of others' land and many other reasons. Modern world is no more different. From time to time history has witnessed many wars between different nations which bring about drastic affects in the nations involved. The two such most drastic events were World War-1 and World War-2. This saw a total change in the map of the world and different boundaries. But what were affected most was the people during the war. There were soldiers fighting for their respective countries and even so many innocent lives went away. Many people including soldiers lost their limbs and became handicapped forever. Although there was nothing that could compensate equally for the loss, war compensation (in german Abfindung )and transitional aid provided by the respective countries was a step ahead in ensuring a proper care.

Since soldiers and other people were affected during the war for the nation, it becomes a responsibility of the government of the nation to take care of the families of the impacted. Many people who became handicapped could not even take care of the livelihood for their families. The transitional aid (in german Übergangsbeihilfe) provided by the governments was aimed at ensuring the basic shelter to the families of the affected and some money to take care of the basic living things. Aim was just to support the basic needs of the people in the times of transition for the country by ensuring minimum needs of food, cloth and shelter. The transitional aid had been meant to support the life in the country in the times country is recovering or transitioning from the disaster. Different countries today follow different war compensation schemes to compensate for the loss to their soldiers. This may vary based on the level of injury or loss to the soldier and his family. The war compensation (in german Abfindung ) may include an assured amount of money or concessions at different places in the country. The families of soldiers might be entitled to buy things at a discounted price. This all has been done taking in consideration the difficulties and risks involved in the job of a soldier.
